Lifescience Data Architect
Degree in a life science or computer science discipline (PhD preferred). Extensive experience with and understanding of chemical and biological data of relevance for nutrition & lab testing (chemical structures, biological assay endpoints, physicochemical properties used to characterize compounds, etc.). Ability to write macros for data reformatting and processing. Preferred programming language = python. High problem solving motivation and ownership for being highly responsible for the outcome of the company. Teamplayer. The desire to learn continuously, to challenge the status quo, and to seek novel approaches to solve problems.
As one of the first employees of our new business you will be a member of the Digital Life Sciences department, and be expected to design, implement, and administer data structures and annotations for data being generated in lab testing, with a focus on biochemical data (with associated biological and physicochemical endpoints), annotation of existing data (e.g. with respect to target names, meta data etc.), structuring incoming customer data and creating a complex life science data base.
